Spaghetti Carbonara, Caprese Salad, and Strawberry Cake

The small persimmons are from our back yard, the pomegranate is from a friend's yard.
They are both sweet, juicy, and delicious.


                                                       Caprese Salad 


Tomato seasoned with salt and pepper
layered with fresh mozzarella, prosciutto.


Top with a basil leaf


chopped Italian parsley
drizzle a little olive oil and balsamic vinegar

Strawberry Cake




我鄰居說這個蛋糕是我所有蛋糕裡,他們最愛的一個
因為很moist
作法很簡單,我把作法翻成中文

烤箱350F
6大匙無鹽奶油,室溫
一杯糖
中高速打3分鐘



改成中低速
加一個蛋
半杯牛奶


加一小匙香草精
攪拌均勻


過篩
1.5杯的麵粉
1.5小匙的泡打粉(baking powder)
0.5小匙的鹽



攪拌器改低速
過篩後的麵粉,泡打粉,鹽,分三次加入


可以進烤箱了


不知道放blackberries的效果如何...

350F烤10分鐘
然後
325F烤一小時


Done!
