Korean Cooking~ Soybean sprouts salad, Steamed eggs, Sauteed veggie & shrimp

Soybean Sprouts Salad
Don't remove the ends of the soybean sprouts,
because it has "Aspartate."
Eun Hwa said that is the only part in soybean sprouts 
that is good for us.
Gee! I ate soybean sprouts wrong all my life.

rinse well





Soak in water 
(1/2 boiled water + 1/2 cold water) for 1 minutes
to get rid of chemicals


steam with 1/2 cup of water for 3 minutes


add salt


special salt
구죽염


add red pepper



add chopped green onion


sprinkle ground black sesame seeds
I love this dish. 


Korean Style Steamed Eggs 
To make the broth first
Sauteed anchovy without oil until the water evaporates
(because the anchovy were frozen)


add 1 cup of water
put in sea weeds
bring to a boil, and then lower to simmer 
for 20 minutes



eggs & chopped green onion


add 새우젓 (pickled shrimp paste)



add 1 cup of anchovy & sea weeds broth
cover and steam for 20 minutes
(stir after ten minutes)


Home style sauteed veggie, shrimp, & fishcake 


Boil fish cake in water to get rid of the oil.


rinse with water


King trumpet mushroom


Slice all veggies 



sauteed with 1 ts of oil


add salt






add homemade sauce (soy sauce with onion and garlic)


turn off heat
move the pan off the heat
add olive oil to taste


add sesame oil to taste
