Aging Artfully

I read an article on today’s newspaper. It says: 

“As people grow older, creative side of the brain often comes alive.”

HA! That sounds very encouraging.

These pictures of patchwork quilts I took yesterday when visiting the Alameda County Fair. 

I hope in the near future I can post one here that I made, but.......... 

I have to learn how to use the sewing machine first.

I think you're right, but... please don't laugh too loud.      
There is nothing wrong with people like me who are just hanging around looking for things to do.      

I don't think I like sewing, but I would like to figure out how to use the machine, so I'll wait until you have time to show me.
