Last week we went to Santa Cruz. We arrived around noon; unloaded our beach
To the left of me was a woman with five small children whose ages range from four to ten years. She couldn’t enjoy the beach for the constant problems caused by her children. She tried to ignore them by turning her back towards them. Three of the smaller ones were throwing sand at each other with shovels; the sand went in their eyes and on other people who were sitting close to them. The two older children ran between sunbathers dumping buckets of water on each other and on unsuspecting people. Finally the mother had enough; she gave a sharp yell through her teeth and told the children they’re leaving. This caused much argument and crying. As they left, I heard the mother swearing loudly at her children.
The area directly in front of me was taken by three overweight women. They were lying on an old army blanket which they were constantly shaking the sand out of. It seemed as though they did this so they could strut, stretch, and pose for the people watching them. As they bent over spreading their blanket on the sand I marveled at the fact their swimsuits seams didn’t break exposing more of their flabby bodies. I found them disgusting and looked elsewhere.
A boy about eight and a girl about 10 years old were playing at the edge of the water. They were building sandcastles which were never completed because of the waves washing them away. The boy yelled with delight when he discovered a sand crab in his hand. Armed with empty cups they decided to see who could catch the most crabs. After they filled their cups they freed the crabs and started again. It was delightful to watch these kids play without disturbing others.
To the right of me was a pregnant woman who was constantly eating. She was lying on a lounge chair, her huge stomach jutting in the air. Her hand was continuously moving from her bag of goodies to her mouth and back again as she emptied bag after bag. She will probably blame her baby for her excess weight instead of herself.
Behind me was a group of blacks fully dressed and sitting under umbrellas. The radio was blasting soul music interrupted by their loud and sometimes obscene voices. The wine and beer prohibited by law on the beach, was flowing freely. The beach police rode by and ignored them. Occasionally, one or two of them would start dancing causing their large hats to flap. In the late afternoon, they haphazardly packed their belongings and staggered across the beach to their cars.
The sun was dropping quickly into the west bringing a chilled breeze with it. Regretfully, we headed home. I was displeased with many of the people I saw, however, I’ll be back because the ugliness of these people cannot overshadow the beauty of the ocean.
This is fun. Try it.

Instead of crowd watching, why didn't you move the chair to somewhere else to better enjoy the ocean view?

- Enjoy watching people means you like to watch people's behavior, either good and bad one, or it's not called "enjoy".

Have I ever mentioned to you Santa Curz is exactly where my cousin lives? If I ever stop by SF, I won't let you cook in the kitchen for me. We'll all go out and have some authentic Mexican food instead. My treat! I've got friends who own Mexican restaurants over there... (smiling)

save the country? that's too less money ( only students from university have to pay). they should save money for the education, not put the money in the deep hole to help greece.
I did not give you the long face. Everything is increasing except salary.
