The Shed

Before the shed, we had a swimming pool with a deck.

We enjoyed it but not enough.

Pool partly dismantled.

Pool and deck torn down.

Leveled the ground, reused the red wood for the foundation.

Small metal rods used to support insulation.

Hard workers are rewarded.

Rainy days stop work on shed, more pictures will be posted when the days are sunny.

Only two small holes left on the roof.

Gosh! The plywood is heavy when you try to lift it up. 
Let's call it a day!

Mick finished installing the plywood on the roof while I was happily chatting and eating with a friend.

Mick always runs into SMALL problems like this. Do you see the gap? As picky as he is, that means a trip to Home Depot.

A shim will do the job...

The insulation is to stop the heat and cold, it's not necessary to put it in if the purpose is to store stuff. But the idea to have a shed is to have a nice place to relax, we are not sure yet what to do with it, maybe turn into a gym or my painting studio. Just wait and see, it'll be a pretty little house.

Yes, insulation in the floor and will be in the walls and roof.
The weather is nice. We're putting the plywood on the roof, bye now. Get to work.

That was because I heard her yell at a customer who didn't leave a tip and yell at the kitchen to have them cook faster. I was impressed. How was the beef noodle soup? I've never tried that.
